Last weekend's rumble really shook up the standings. But the regular season is now complete, and we know the final four. Facing off in Omaha this Saturday, July 19th, will be:
Rhinos East (7-1 regular season)
Tulsa (5-4 regular season)
Boulevard (4-4 regular season)
Flying Monkey (4-5 regular season)
Congratulations to the teams that made it!
The Wichita Eagle published a nice write-up about the Wichita Lacrosse Club and men's lacrosse in today's paper. You can read it online at their website.
Well, the schedule wasn't final after all. The Oklahoma City team was unable to get things going this year, so we had to redo everything to get things back in balance. So now it is official.
See you this weekend in KC!
The 2008 Schedule is now official. Sorry for the delay, but we think it was worth it — we've added two new teams to the league!
The first new team is actually kinda old. The Omaha Rhinos has split into the Rhinos East and the Rhinos West. Which is the old one and which is the new? Only a Rhino can tell.
The second new team is genuinely new. Oklahoma City is just putting together a team, and they will be a provisional member of the GPLL this year. Welcome to the league, guys!
Team presidents are hashing out the 2008 schedule. It should be available any day now. Check back here for updates.
