The Cannons staged a spectacular come from behind in the fourth quarter of the championship game to retain their title of GPLL Champions.

The GPLL Championship Tournament for 2005 will be played Saturday, July 30th. The Tulsa/Wichita club is not able to participate, so it will be a round-robin between the three remaining teams. The schedule is:

Actual gametimes will vary slightly. Games will begin 15 minutes after the previous game ends.
The tournament is at the Cannons' home field, at Blackbob Park, just east of 151st and Blackbob.
The 2005 season kicked off with some excellent lacrosse this weekend. Check out the standings and results.
The 2005 Kansas City Summer League will run from June 9th through August 12th. Games will be played at 6:30pm on Thursdays at Indian Woods Middle School (97th & Woodson in Overland Park, Click for map).

The first annual "Battle of the Beers" is Friday, May 12th. Flying Monkey will play Boulevard Lacrosse (formerly 4 Winds). After the game, the battle will continue with beers provided by both breweries. Everyone is invited to attend.
The game will be at Blue Valley School District Campus at 151st and Metcalf. Faceoff is at 6:30 – see you then!
The GPLL spring schedule is still being worked out, but the season will probably start in mid-May. Check back in the next month for more details.
The Rockhurst University mini-tournament on Saturday, March 19th was a success. The weather was beautiful, and the lacrosse was great. Final results:
